Poh Kheng Chin founded PKC Group Wealth in May 1990 as an individual financial planner. She quickly became well known for her strong character, determination and the loyal relationships forged with her clients.

Originally based in the health industry, Chin has remained focused on complete care of her clients. For her, financial planning is not solely about providing for financial needs but also about reaching broader goals. By building personable relationships, she is able to get a complete picture of her client’s life and ambitions, allowing her to provide a more personal and thorough service.

She believes that part of providing the best service to her clients involves constant improvement. For over 20 years she has worked to providing a better informed service, Chin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, now holding a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Diploma of Financial Markets. In more recent years, she has focused on specialising in Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF), becoming a member of FPA, MFAA and SPAA.

As Managing Director, Chin has focused on building the company around her diverse skills. This expansion has allowed the company to nurture new relationships with clients and for her to concentrate on building the company, ensuring it evolves with client’s changing needs and maintaining personal relationships with her clients.

Karmun has been providing professional financial planning advice and solutions to clients since 2009.

Karmun prides herself on developing excellent working relationships with all clients to provide comprehensive financial advice based on their individual needs and goals. She is a certified Financial Planner®, has a Bachelor degree in Economics and Finance, and a Diploma in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) she is also a member of the FPA and MFAA. 

Melissa joined PKC Group in February 2012 as a Para planner and Support Officer. Her day to day tasks involve preparing and administering financial plans and reports for clients.

She has a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash University.

Melissa is passionate about baking and enjoys good company over a meal or a cuppa.

Mary Romeo joined the company in 1998. Mary’s role in the company commenced as an administrative role assisting with Chin with the everyday running of the business.

Mary has watched the company grow from strength to strength and this has created a new role for Mary who has become an authorised representative of general insurance. Her main role now is dealing with the general insurance clients.

Mary loves to spend time with her family and enjoys music and dancing and going for long walks.

Judy joined our team in May 2006. Judy assists in the everyday running of the business and is the first point of contact when clients call, and greets our clients on their arrival in the office with a super cup of coffee.

In her free time Judy enjoys socialising with friends, reading, gardening and keeping fit.

Stacy joined PKC Group in 2014 as part of the support staff. His role is to implement the Financial Planners recommendations and liaise with the various product and service providers.

He has an honours degree in Chemistry, enjoys reading, gardening, walking his neighbour’s dog and is possibly the only adult in Australia who does not own a cell phone.

Carmel has been a part of the AMP family for many many years - all of her working life. And now being a part of PKC Group in recent years, has seen this company grow to great achievements.

Carmel is also especially passionate about spending time with family and good friends.
